Boil Water Order Lifted for Village of Brocton and Town of Portland Water Customers

MAYVILLE, N.Y.:--  The Chautauqua County Department of Health and Human Services and the North Chautauqua County Water District announced today that the boil water order in effect since Wednesday June 30, 2021 for water customers served by the Village of Brocton and Town of Portland is now lifted. Water samples collected on July 1 and July 2 show that the water is safe to drink and use for all other purposes.

 

The Chautauqua County Department of Health and Human Services would like to thank all affected water customers for their cooperation and patience while the boil water order was in effect.
