The Chautauqua County Department of Public Facilities (DPF) Division of Solid Waste has announced Household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off Days.
These events allow Chautauqua County residents to dispose of hazardous chemicals and used paint free of charge. Among some of the items accepted are used antifreeze, fluorescent tube lights, flammable adhesives, flammable solvents, paint thinner, mineral spirits, deck cleaners, non-empty aerosol cans, flammable floor polish, herbicides, pesticides, chemistry sets, paint and pool chemicals.

County Announces New Paint Recycling Program
MAYVILLE, N.Y.: – The Chautauqua County Department of Public Facilities is pleased to announce a new paint recycling program that allows households and businesses in Chautauqua County to recycle leftover paint, stain, and varnish conveniently and sustainably.
Household Hazardous Drop-Off Day
The Chautauqua County Department of Public Facilities (DPF) Division of Solid Waste has announced a Household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off Day will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Chautauqua County DPF Building at 454 North Work St. in Falconer, N.Y.
