MAYVILLE, NY – Paul Davis, age 27, of South Dayton, was sentenced Tuesday, December 5th, by Judge David Foley to an indeterminate state prison sentenced of 2 to 6 years for a violation of probation.

Mr. Davis was convicted in April 2022 of Burglary in the 3rd degree for an incident that occurred in November 2020 in the Village of Westfield.

He was sentenced to a term of 5 years’ probation on that conviction.

Mr. Davis violated the terms of his probation shortly after beginning his term and the Chautauqua County Probation Department filed a violation of probation in October 2022 and requested a warrant for his arrest in October 2022. Mr. Davis had not been located on that warrant until August 2023.

He appeared in Chautauqua County court on October 5th and admitted his violation of probation. The DA would like to thank the Probation department for their diligent supervision of probationers.
