Probation Violation Sentencing

Billy Heilman, age 38, of Panama, was sentenced Monday, July 1st, in Chautauqua County court by Judge David Foley to a determinate state prison sentence of six years with three years of post-release supervision on a Violation of Probation.

In February 2023, Jamestown Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the City of Jamestown and located methamphetamines on Mr. Heilman’s person which led to an arrest.

In February 2024, Mr. Heilman pled guilty and was sentenced to five year term of probation after being convicted of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fourth Degree, a class C felony.

In May 2024, the Chautauqua County Office of Probation filed a violation against Mr. Heilman for not complying with the terms of his probation.

The District Attorney would like to thank the Jamestown Police Department for their work on this case and the Chautauqua County Probation Officers for their diligent supervision of probationers.
