MAYVILLE, N.Y. - The Chautauqua County Health Department urges residents to use extreme caution while viewing the eclipse. In order to prevent severe eye injury, residents are encouraged to be prepared with proper eclipse viewing glasses.

The Chautauqua County Health Department has announced a free rabies vaccination clinic. Vaccinations will be provided free of charge to all dogs, cats, and domesticated ferrets three months of age and older. Animals must be pre-registered to receive vaccinations.
