JAMESTOWN, N.Y. – A United Nation’s Ambassador is calling Chautauqua County home settling in Jamestown, N.Y. and offering counsel to local leaders.
MAYVILLE, N.Y. – On Tuesday, May 30 Chautauqua County Executive Paul “PJ” M. Wendel Jr. extended the county’s emergency order issued in response to the City of New York’s intentions to send migrants and asylum seekers to other counties.
Chautauqua County Executive PJ Wendel recently announced Chautauqua County Budget Director Kathleen Dennison will retire from her position effective June 2, 2023.
Dennison first began her career with the County on July 7, 2011 as a Principal Account Clerk with the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office. She was later appointed as an Accounting Supervisor, a position she held for two years, before being appointed as Budget Director for the Chautauqua County Department of Finance on Feb. 1, 2017.
Chautauqua County Executive Paul "PJ" M. Wendel Jr. has declared a State of Emergency in response to the City of New York’s intentions to send migrants and asylum seekers to other counties.
A Falconer native has taken on a newly created bipartisan role within Chautauqua County Government to enhance and ease communication between both the news media and public.
The Chautauqua County Ethics Board will be holding a meeting on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at 2 p.m. in Room 331 of the Gerace Office Building, 3 N. Erie St. in Mayville, N.Y.
