Westfield Man Sentenced In Felony Drug Case

MAYVILLE, NY – A 45-year-old Westfield, NY resident was sentenced Monday in connection with a felony drug charge.

Chautauqua County District Attorney Jason Schmidt announced that Judge David Foley sentenced Shawn Conway to a determinate state prison term of 6 years plus 2 years of post-release supervision after pleading guilty to Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree, a Class B felony, on August 28, 2023.

On October 1, 2021 the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search warrant in the Town of Mina which subsequently lead to the arrest of Mr. Conway for a number of drug related charges.

Mr. Conway is already serving a sentence of 10-15 years in state prison on a drug conviction from April 2023, this sentence will serve concurrently to the April conviction.
