Pinwheel Garden Planting to Raise Awareness on Child Abuse Prevention in Jamestown, NY

Start: Mar 25, 2024 - 1:15pm

End: Mar 25, 2024 - 2:15pm

JAMESTOWN, NY – Join us for a meaningful pinwheel garden planting ceremony in recognition of National Child Abuse Prevention Month on Monday, March 25, 2024, at 1:15 p.m. at Jamestown City Hall, located at 200 East 3rd Street, Jamestown, N.Y.

This inclusive event welcomes the participation from the public alongside local officials, law enforcement, and community leaders as we unite to plant pinwheel gardens at City Hall.

Following brief remarks and a ceremonial kickoff, the pinwheel garden planting outside City Hall will commence. Once complete, we will embark on a symbolic walk to nearby Jamestown High School for further planting, extending the message of child abuse prevention throughout our community.

The pinwheel, a poignant symbol of hope, health, and happiness for children, takes center stage in these gardens, each serving as a powerful statement in raising awareness about the critical importance of preventing child abuse and fostering safe, nurturing environments for children and families across our community.
