MAYVILLE, N.Y. – Chautauqua County Executive PJ Wendel Jr. has extended the county’s State of Emergency, first issued on May 18, 2023, Emergency Order No. 1, first issued on May 18, 2023, and Emergency Order No. 2, first issued on September 29, 2023.

CCIDA Board Approves Loan for Forestville-Based Manufacturer
FORESTVILLE, NY – At its December 19, 2023 meeting, the County of Chautauqua Industrial Development Agency (CCIDA) Board of Directors approved a $130,000 loan to Bailey Manufacturing Co., LLC to support the construction of a new warehouse building near its existing facility, located at 10987 Bennett State Rd., Forestville, NY.

JAMESTOWN, NY – The County-Wide Shared Services Initiative (CWSSI) generates property tax savings by enabling collaboration between local governments across the state. As indicated by Section 239-bb of the County-Wide Shared Services Initiative (CWSSI), as of January 1, 2022, each county outside of New York City is granted the choice in whether to participate in the CWSSI.
