The Child / Teen Health Program is a preventive health program which provides continuing medical care to your children. Child / Teen Health Plus makes use of a full range of healthcare services to detect health problems before they become serious and hard to treat.
Every Medicaid recipient, from birth until age 21, is eligible.
Child / Teen Health Plus is important because it provides a child with early and regular health care. It assures a child of better health now and fewer health problems in the future. Depending on the age of a child, a Child / Teen Health Plus screening will include:

Your child's medical provider will arrange for followup treatment of problems uncovered during the examination.
