DUNKIRK, NY – Chautauqua County Executive Paul M. Wendel Jr., Dunkirk Mayor Kate Wdowiasz, and other local officials will come together to proclaim Overdose Awareness Week in Chautauqua County on Monday, August 26, 2024, at 10:00 AM. The event will take place at Dunkirk City Hall, located at 342 Central Ave, Dunkirk, NY.
This initiative, part of a broader effort by the CHQ Together We Can Coalition, aims to foster a supportive community environment and raise awareness about overdose prevention and recovery services.
The event is open to the public and will also be live-streamed on Chautauqua County's YouTube page, with a recording available for those unable to attend in-person.
