Adult day programs offer a safe place for seniors to go from one to six days per week, where they can interact with their peers, participate in age appropriate activities, and get a good meal. Sometimes programs offer grooming, personal care, and health care services. There are generally two types of Adult Day programs: Social Adult Day and Adult Day Healthcare for people with significant health and mobility issues. Some programs provide specific services for people with dementia or other health conditions and there is a lot of variability in activities and services offered.
